Puredrive Energy Limited – Summer 2026 DSO Flexibility Trial – Terms and Conditions

Puredrive Energy Limited (“PDE”, “we”, “us”, “our”)

EDF Energy Limited (the “Service Supplier”)

Duracell Energy Summer 2026 DSO Flexibility Trial (the “Flex Trial”)

Grid Services means any program that enables users of battery storage systems to send stored energy back to the National Grid or to be used to manage grid capacity for a reward (e.g. a payment or bill credit).

Flex Trial

PDE is conducting a trial with the Service Supplier to bring Grid Services opportunities to our Duracell Energy product users.

These Terms and Conditions only apply to the Flex Trial.

The Flex Trial will last up to three months duration between May and September 2026.

The invitation to participate is not transferable and only applies to you if you have received a direct communication from us inviting you to take part in the Flex Trial.

Participation

Participation in the Flex Trial is only open to users of Duracell Energy Battery Storage Systems (“BSS”), not already participating in any other Grid Services offering, who have received an invitation to participate and who have signed up for the Flex Trial, in the form required, and who provide their Participant Consent for the full duration of the Flex Trial (the “Trial Participant”).

Only one Trial Participant per Duracell Energy BSS may sign up to take part in the Flex Trial.

We will be required to submit data about you and your Duracell Energy BSS (the “Shared Data”) to the Service Supplier for use by them and their service providers involved in procuring the Grid Services as part of the Flex Trial.

Reward

Trial Participants who sign up, whose Duracell Energy BSS is suitable for and who participate in the Flex Trial for its full duration will be eligible for a reward. This will be issued in the form of a £20 Amazon voucher.

If, after covering the costs of conducting the Flex Trial, PDE is in receipt of additional funds as a result of procuring the Grid Services such additional funds may be distributed between eligible Trial Participants in the form of additional Amazon vouchers.

For the purpose of ensuring your reward is sent to you, we will require your full email address. No other reward will be substituted so if you do not provide a full, valid email address to us we will be unable to send you your reward.

Participant Consent

· By signing up to participate in the Flex Trial you acknowledge and agree that:

· You are consenting to us sharing the Shared Data with the Service Supplier and for us and the Service Supplier to use the Shared Data for the purposes of procuring Grid Services as part of the Flex Trial.

· You are consenting to the MPAN associated with your BSS being registered with the flexibility market by the Service Supplier.

· You are consenting to us applying charge, discharge and idle controls to your BSS during the Flex Trial in response to flexibility market requirements.

· Your continuing participation in the Flex Trial will be deemed as continuing Participant Consent throughout the period of the trial.

· Both PDE and the Service Supplier shall operate as Data Controllers for the Shared Data

· PDE shall operate as Data Controller for any other data associated with you and your BSS which we are either already processing or will process ourselves for the purposes of the Flex Trial.

Without your consent, we will be unable to register your details to participate in the Trial.

If you send us your details for registration without providing your consent, we shall remove those details from our systems and you will not be contacted about the Flex Trial.

If you sign up to participate in the Flex Trial but withdraw your consent during the Flex Trial you will not be eligible to participate further, but we shall retain any Shared Data or other Personal Data already provided to us for as long as it is required to complete the Flex Trial and to comply with our obligations in respect of the Flex Trial. We will stop sharing the Shared Data with the Service Supplier and shall notify the Service Supplier that you have withdrawn from the Flex Trial. You will no longer be eligible for any reward offered for participating in the Flex Trial. You can withdraw your consent and participation by sending an email to legal@puredrive-energy.co.uk or replying to any of the sign-up emails with the words “withdraw consent” in the email title.

Neither PDE nor the Service Supplier makes any guarantee that your BSS is suitable for the Flex Trial.

Your BSS may be deemed unsuitable and in these circumstances may be removed from the Flex Trial either temporarily or permanently. If removed permanently you will not be eligible for the reward.

Your removal or alteration of any commands applied to your BSS by us for the purposes of the Flex Trial will be deemed to be a withdrawal of Participant Consent.

The following Shared Data will be shared between PDE and the Service Supplier:

  • The name of your Duracell Energy Battery Storage System (your “System”) (your inverter serial number)
  • The full address (including postcode) where your System is installed
  • Your MPAN
  • The amount of energy capacity of your System
  • The dates and times and metering information for periods of use during the Flex Trial
  • [other data points to be finalised]

These Terms and Conditions are in addition to your statutory rights. Participation in the Flex Trial does not affect your statutory rights, in particular in relation to the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
